Youth Camp 2016 Review

It's been over two months since 253 people, including 49 leaders, 69 parents, and 118 campers gathered for Youth Camp 2016. Youth Camp is known for being a time when the Lord works in powerful ways in the lives of those who attend. This year proved to be no different.

Youth Coordinator Justice Volz and Youth Director Josh Volz literally began to pray for this event the day after Youth Camp 2015. The biggest answer to prayer that Justice saw at Youth Camp was watching over 20 youth confess their sins and accept Jesus as their Lord, Savior, and Treasure! It might sound cliche, he said, but the miracle of salvation can never be cliche! There isn't a greater privilege than to watch God clearly accomplish his mission in the hearts of our youth!

Justice also shared two of his greatest highlights from Youth Camp. For the first time ever, there was an opportunity for youth to be baptized, and 11 youth publicly proclaimed their faith through baptism! The second highlight was the time of extended worship on the final night of camp when over 200 people passionately celebrated the immeasurable love of truly was a taste of eternity.
