Youth Camp was yet again another impactful event for both the 70 parents and 125 youth who attended. This year’s theme was “Grow,” and sessions included such topics as dealing with sin, how to grow and the passion to grow. The worship times were powerful and the ministry times were equally as impactful, leaving many feeling refreshed and revitalized. When sessions weren’t going on, many good conversations were witnessed happening between parents and their children as well as students reaching out and mingling with other students. This year was blessed with no injuries and answers to prayer as the rain was perfectly timed so that it did not interfere with any games or the baptisms. Speaking of the games, good sportsmanship in the midst of the competition was observed; many of the youth found joy in supporting and encouraging one another during the game time. But the true highlight of camp? Life-changing decisions were made as several students were born again and four were baptized in the lake. Praise the Lord for how He worked at Youth Camp this year!
